New plant additions and a successful swap!
Hi all! 😊 I wanted to show the #GregGang my recent additions to my ever-growing collection 🪴✨ Starting to get back what I lost! 🙌🏽
I met up a few days ago with the lovely lady I bought a Purple Shamrock plant a week ago! Her and I connected and decided to arrange a time to meet at her house to swap plants 😁
I gathered up some cuttings I was given previously (they were duplicates) and a few of my own babies that had survived the cold temps and gifted them to her! Let me show y’all what I got in return 🫶🏽
📸 First, Purple Shamrock is blooming! Second, She gave me HUGE #MonsteraAdonsonii and #PhilodendronBrasil cuttings! (I’ll be sharing the Swiss Cheese with bestie @ShinyBudew 🤭) She also gave me a cute little #hoyaLisa and a cool looking #RavenZzPlant 🤩

I'm so happy for you, @kscape. Your plants are just beautiful. I am, however, so sorry you lost so much in the freeze. Our first year there in 1973, we had a terrible snowstorm, I think, also in January. They had no snow removal equipment car were all over in the ditch coming from Copperas Cove to base. Laughingly, friends blamed us for bringing the snow with us from Connecticut. Memories 🤔

@Stall54Jo Haha! The freeze this year wasn’t bad, but what sucked was the fact that I lost electricity for 3 days. Weather wasn’t TERRIBLE, but it was extremely cold.
The year I moved here, Texas had a horrible freeze. My boyfriend blames me for bringing Illinois winter that year! 🤣
