Mandarin spider plant revival success! 🤩
On Sept. 8, @AwesomePlants #fairyplantparent) sent me #PlantMail with an abundance of cuttings and rooted plants 🤩
When I opened the box and pull this plant out, I was like “oh my god this thing is DEAD 💀💀” and messaged Awesome about it 🤣🤣 She ID’d it as Mandarin Spider Plant btw 🫶🏼
She was so patient with me as she gave advice on how to go about potting this baby up!! I placed it in a plastic pot and didn’t like the look of the mangled leaves, so Awesome suggested I CHOP IT ✂️✂️ and start OVER! 🤩

@kscape Aaaahhhhhh!!!! 💚🧡 Amazing is an understatement!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏 @AwesomePlants did send a “dead” mandarin and she told me about yours and how you were reviving it. This gives me so much hope!!! I trusted Awesome of course but seeing your progress is 🙌🏾 encouraging for sure!!! So I cut mine back, watered and drained and threw her in a baggie. She’s now sweating to the oldies in her baggie since Monday. Not sure when to take her out though… Am I waiting more greenery or should I pot her now? Should I have cut her back more?

@LatiTish84 these were clearance finds. They looked like that before travel🤣. Peel all the leaves off and let her grow back. Sorry, I forgot to tell you to trim her back like I did with @MrsSmith

@kscape Thank youuuuuu!!!! ☺️☺️☺️ My dollar store wasn’t a DT, it was just a little $0.99 store around the way, but I know DT has cute little bowls too so go for it. I was gonna get a terra pot from there but when I saw this bowl I was like NOPE!! This is it!! Try to match if you can 🤞🏾🫶🏽💚🧡💛 And I remember you said water every 8-10 days and I even took a screenshot of it so I wouldn’t forget. Thanks for the tip 👍🏾 I’ll be keeping you guys posted. Oh!!
