My Hoyas arrived!!πŸŽ‰ these are my first Hoya plants I’ve ordered and the first plants I’ve ordered online and they came in perfectly! I’m so excited to see them grow :) if you have any tips feel free to share them with me as I start this journey :D (note: the Hoya densifola is a free cutting I just dipped in rooting hormone and stuck in a pot!) #Hoya #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewPlants #HappyPlants

Where did you order those beautiful hoyas!
@user424192b6 I ordered it on palm street from the seller forsakenfoliage. It’s actually quite decent pricing and I had a great experience with them!
So pretty!
I love Hoya. You’ll soon have a bunch if you’re like me πŸ˜‚. When I 1st started out with them I killed so many by overwatering. They like to dry out between watering. Some are more thirsty than others and I put those in self watering pots but I will let it dry out between filling the reservoir to not get root rot. They like light so if you can place them under a grow light or a sunny spot they grow well. I spray the leaves every other week with Miraclegrow orchid spray and they enjoy that. Just a light spray nothing crazy. I grow my plants in orchid bark, perlite, charcoal and a small amount of worm castings. The roots don’t do well in high soil mixes. The roots are tiny and it tends to cause root rot. If you do use soil add a bunch of bark, leca balls, and perlite to make it airy. Welcome to the wonderful world of Hoyas!!
Welcome to hoyas anonymous! There are many of us who are members lol. In the blink of an eye, you’ll have 40 lol!
Congratulations! That’s incredibly exciting news. Welcome to the wonderful world of the Hoya. These plants are undoubtedly fascinating. 🧐 🀣
