Look how big she has gotten since I got her in november😄 Can barely see it is the same plant 😅🪴
Wow, that’s amazing growth! And her colors are really beautiful 🤩
Gosh she is stunning! How did u get her leaves so big and beautiful!😍
She sure is a beauty
@MockingJay Her colors are just so beautiful!
@Lårysgrove I guess she is just a happy grower😅 I have tried to keep her in a little low light to keep some of that pink. And she has been in just a tiny pot for a long time. I just repotted a couple of weeks ago as she was screaming for more space. (I waited waay too long.. that is why she has some brown tips on the lower leaves).
Definitly not of the fussy ones this one!🪴 She was very happy with the repot.
@MockingJay ooh i wish my calatheas weren’t being fussy . And low light helps keep the colors? Is that true for most calas or is it for the ones thT look like dottie? I’m trying to get my white star to get some leaves with some color
@Lårysgrove the light does affect the colours off most calatheas that I know off.
For Rose Calathea's you will usually get more pink with less light, but also less variety in the pattern. As you might see on my Illustris the light green stripes emerges with more light (and less pink).
(Also worth noting that they "grow into" their pattern. So all calathea's looks a little different when juvenile than all "grown up". As is why almost all the Rose Calathea's looks like Dottie at first😅).

For the White Fusion it gets more green with more light and more white with less. I think that also goes for the Yellow Fusion.

And the Pinstripe get more pink stripes with less light, and white with more light. But contrary to the others the Pinstripe (and as far as I know, the Beauty Star too) also changes their colour depending on the age of the leaf, and if the light change. (So pink stripes might become white if the leaf gets more light later, and when they get old. But for the Roseopicta's the colours will remain aprox the same, just "darken" a little over time).

Hope that was understandable 😅 #adhdplantlovers

I do believe you will get more pink on your White Star with less light. You just have to be careful not to stress them out too much😅
I am in love with these plants. They are so temperamental but so worth the extra work. Prim is gorgeous!!
