I just bought my mother one of these for Christmas and it comes on Monday! Hoping hers does as well as yours β™₯️
@GaryPoopins sending good vibes that way!πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—
So pretty! Love the color!
I’m not an expert but that a Thanksgiving cactus. It has points and the Christmas one is round. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ it’s beautiful.
@Houseofplants I believe you are right but GREG keeps tagging it as a false Christmas cactus. I’m not sure if they have Thanksgiving.
@Plantbabymama I clicked on the search and typed it in and it popped up. I have one and I’m sad it won’t bloom 😩
@Houseofplants oh nice! You searched Thanksgiving cactus? I’m fixing now.
Awww ☺️ What a beautiful bloom! 🀩
RIP Harper😭😭😭 root rot for the win. I cut off the diseased roots and leaves. Can these be just stood up in soil and thrive? Do I let callus? Do I take the L?? @TidyTigerpear @Michelle5986 @vvvelo @UltraKoreanfir
@GaryPoopins we jinxed her🀣🀣 root rot for the win. I hope your mother’s does much better than mine. 🫢🏼πŸ₯Ή
@Plantbabymama Aw! That's too bad. πŸ˜” Sorry.

From what I've read, you can just stick them in the soil to let them root, but don't let the soil stay so moist.

It also probably would be fine if you allowed some callous to form. Maybe you could do a little experiment and do some straight in soil, and some allow to callous first.
