#TheWateringHole
Happy Wednesday to everyone. Just finished plant care for today so I thought I would post updates. ☁️ and 🌧 here in PA in the 70s. Hope you all have a good day.
Here's more 😁
Have a wonderful day!
My monstera has tiny pin holes in a few beautiful big leaves. I cleaned with 70% alcohol and it is growing those new leaves that open from the stem of the monstera. I put tw0 sticks from a cedar tree it seems to "enjoy" . Am I wrong it likes it's new home?
Also, what does brown splat marks on my monstera leaves mean???
@GracedStrapwort

Hi Deb!

I'm so glad #thewateringhole is back!
I've missed it and thank you for hosting today.

Your plants are all beauties and the flowers on your African Violets are a treasure.

Everything is also looking good outside as well.

Am posting a photo of our Silver Dragon πŸ‰ ✨️ 😎 πŸ˜€
He just amazes me and keeps on giving, with lots of new leaves πŸƒ!

He really needs repotting and has been added to the top of my repot list!

I hope that you and all of our lovely 😍 peeps have a beautiful day or night, depending upon where you are located.
@CutePolypremum
Thanks for the kind words Joanie. Your silver dragon is beautiful!
@GracedStrapwort @DreamMachine @MariansOasis

Yikes!

Deb forgot the tags...

Is there any way that you can help her to insert them?
I was wondering why #thewateringhole wasn't very active, as it usually is!

Thanks πŸ€—πŸ˜πŸ˜˜
@TycoonMizuna

Hi Michele!

I'm sorry, but I don't have any experience with Monsteras.
No worries, there are experts in our Community and help will be coming soon, no doubt!
@TycoonMizuna
Sorry Michele, I do not have any Monstera plants. I hope someone else can assist you.
@CutePolypremum where do I find the tags and how do I insert them? πŸ€”
@CutePolypremum @GracedStrapwort Good morning to you and everyone at #TheWateringHole ! I just got back from a quick trip to the coast, it was lovely and moody, just the way I like it πŸ₯° I only wore shoes when I was arriving, and leaving, so feeling very nicely grounded the last couple days.

I came home to strawberries πŸ“ and my crassipetiolata finally waking up after winter, the sleepy head πŸ₯± The biggest new leaf ever and he put out two new long vines. I’m going to repot him today with a different kind of trellis because I don’t think he really likes this one.

I’m loving all your beautiful plants πŸ₯°
@GracedStrapwort

Dear Nadia came to the rescue, as always! πŸ€—πŸ˜‡πŸ˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜‰
@GracedStrapwort @CutePolypremum I just have them copy/pasted into a notes page on my phone, and then I add names as we do. If you don’t want to save them, you can always just tap on #TheWateringHole hashtag, and copy the most recent posts’s tags. I put #TheWateringHole tag in my profile blurb, so that I always know where I can go to tap on that hashtag πŸ₯°
@TycoonMizuna Hi Michele, it would be impossible to diagnose any issues without pictures of your monstera. Since this is Deb’s post, why don’t you make your own post and include many pictures of your plant, its location, and the problems areas. You can tag me so I can take a look if you’d like. Include lots of hashtags in Your main post so that others will see it as well! 🫢✨
@DreamMachine

Oh yes, my sweet lady 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Being by and in the ocean takes away all of our worries and woes and leaves us grounded and a lot more sane! (At least for me, anyhoo) πŸ˜‰πŸ˜…πŸ˜˜

The Northern California and Oregon Coast are beautiful beyond words!
I was fortunate to stay in my friend's isolated cabin for vacation for a week.
It was located on Big Sur... on a secluded bluff overlooking the ocean.
HEAVEN...

Yum....nothing tastes like strawberries fresh off the vine. From what I remember, when we had a strawberry patch, they like to have pine needles to be used as mulch?

I love the photo of you in your bare feet and white hat!

And, your Crassipetiolata is getting a repot and new trellis from mom.
How much fun is that?
(Say Crassipetiolata 3 times as fast as you can and I'll mail you a plant!) Lol πŸ˜„
@DreamMachine

Hahaha!!! πŸ˜…πŸ˜†πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Ž

I haven't the foggiest notion of how to do what you explained about the tags but I'm sure everyone else does! πŸ€”πŸ˜πŸ˜‘πŸ˜ΆπŸ˜š
@CutePolypremum 🀭 oh Joanie πŸ₯° That Big Sur secluded cabin does sound like HEAVEN. πŸ₯°πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ When my husband and I were on our honeymoon we attempted to go down to that area to visit some hot springs that overlooked the ocean, but unfortunately the one closest road that led out to this place has been washed out. We sadly turned tail and went back (but don’t feel too badly for us, we then stayed at different charming spots along the coast on our way back up πŸ˜‰).

Well, I sure hope strawberries like pine needles, because our big tree sheds them EVERYWHERE in our yard 😜 I do know that they thrive in slightly acidic soil, just like a lot of our tropical houseplants!

Now wish me luck with the wire cutters 😜 for my crassipet…crassawhatnow? What a mouthful! πŸ˜‚
@DreamMachine

Even with the road to Big Sur washed out, the romance wasn't πŸ˜‰

Your fragrant pine trees will bless the soil!

Ok...repeat after me...Crass...eh...pet...eh...tio...latte...oops... coffee on the brain...LATA.

Do not let your Crass, etc. see those wire cutters! 😁😢
Deb! Look at all those showstoppers! 🀩 Okay, so two identifications I’m going to ask for on your very first post: what is that first plant? Second, third pic, the two pink/blush pots, the adorable little gray’s color, what little cutie is that one? Your palms are gorgeous as well ☺️🫢🏻🌻🩡 @CutePolypremum your Alocasia silver dragon is amazing! You have taken it to a next level of growth! Wowzers 🀯. @DreamMachine I’m so incredibly jealous! That coast is incredible and breathtaking. Nothing like being in nature wherever you are luckiest to find it nowadays. It looks like it was a beautiful and charming trip. πŸŒ²πŸŒŠπŸ“ your strawberries look delicious too 🀀
