Life has been hectic for the past few months caring for my dad who fell and broke his hip, plus trying to travel for work and care for my own family all at the same time. I finally made the time to really take a look at some of my many plants and give them the TLC they deserved. Most did well in the months I was away but I lost a few. One of my favorites and my biggest joy right now is my flame violet. She’s been blooming like crazy and the leaf color is amazing. So happy this tiny starter turned out to be a such wonderful plant.

I'm so sorry your Dad broke his hip that is awful. That explains the absence that is a very long recovery. I'm so glad you were able to be there for him. 🩷

Your plant is gorgeous. Honestly, was going to leave that out because you my friend are much more important. Don't forget to take care of yourself as well. 🩷

@ILoveMyPlants lol Deb. I know it’s all my fault and I take full responsibility😂. I bought this plant on Etsy from the plant farm store. It was a 2 inch starter now it’s in a 6 inch pot. I’ve only had it since April.

@Shells_Garden Well don’t tell @CourtlyKingfern but I found a fairy priced at the Violet Barn . And it only gets better buy two get one 50% off . Hubby just got home so I’m counting the hrs till he goes back so I can order .
@ILoveMyPlants hahaha, that’s funny. I do the same thing. I always get caught though because he is disabled and I work. He’s always getting to the mail before me. Yesterday about 5 new plants arrived and today there was a set of 10 terrarium starter plus a sunbelt rose bush. I thought he was gonna lose it but he just shook his head. Now the problem is, where do I put them? I’ve run out of room inside the house.
