Shhhh. Sherlock is sleeping. 😴 πŸ’€
Photo from last night while he was closed up. I love seeing that he has moved a little when I glance over at him. πŸͺ΄

I find comfort in the rusling of leaves in the evening now as all the calatheas go to sleep 🀭🌿
I usually whisper a little goodnight when they do πŸ₯³πŸƒ
Okay so plants do move sometimes??? I thought I was trippin last night when I got home from work and checked on my plants & I S W E A R the leave bounced / moved real quick and I just stopped and stated I thought I was crazy bahahahaπŸ˜‚
@elisenavidad , I don't know a whole lot about plant movement, but I do know that Calatheas close up at night like this. That's why their nickname is "prayer plant." 😁
@JesssJungle shoot well maybe I am crazy then LOL cuz it was my Swiss cheese plant bahahaha
Wish mine was awesome like that. All I have is/rolled leaves. Boooo
Is a rattlesnake plant a kind of snake plant? That’s what I’ve always thought, before I knew what they looked like. Now I’m not sure
@elisenavidad 🀣
@SimpleSucculent As far as I know those two you mentioned have nothing in common. Let's clear up a common misconception right off the bat. The Rattlesnake Plant (Calathea lancifolia) and the Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata) are two different species. They might share a slithery name, but their effects on our feline friends are not the same. The 1st pic = Rattlesnake plant, the 2nd pic Snake plant aka Sansevieria.
Love it when they move their leavesπŸ₯° Sherlock is so pretty!🀩

One of the things I love about the Makoyana in perticular, is that the underside of the leaf is at least as pretty as the topπŸ‘€
@Ms.Persnickety ok that’s what I though
*thought
@MockingJay absolutely! They are just as pretty on the underside.
@Ms.Persnickety I love the name of the snake plant in German: Schwiegermutterzunge Pflanze… Mother-in-law tongue plant! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@NimbleRosemoss Sehr witzig, dass wusste ich nicht!
