Said farewell πŸ‘‹ to several plants πŸͺ΄ today. I’ve loved them through the years but no longer thriving. It took a while to accept letting go. Hopefully all will be picked up today! One in particular I’m going to miss but she deserves a better spot than I can provide is my big SOP. β€œPearlita came here 4.5 years ago, just a tiny little thing πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯°. Now so full and long, she needs to hang somewhere special and I don’t have any spots for hanging plants. I have 2 other SOP’s that are her props so she’s still with me!!! πŸ˜‡ #SucculentLove #BeforeAndAfter #StringOfPearls #rehoming #TheWateringHole
@MariansOasis What a beauty Marian! πŸ«›

I just pulled a few off of my shelves too that I’m ready to pass along.

They deserve to move on to bigger and better things! 🌱πŸͺ΄β˜€οΈ

Oh dear Marian!

I know the sadness of gifting and relocating some of your precious plants πŸͺ΄ and for sure, they'll go to loving ❀️ parents...
Hi @debbiedo @CutePolypremum thanks so much ladies! They’re all gone via the Neighborhood app πŸ₯°. Last night a man came and picked up the last few and so I last minute included a snow queen pothos and 2 anthurium bakeri that I grew from seed πŸ₯ΉπŸŒ± He was so cute, he messaged back a big thank you for sharing! I’m just glad 😌 someone wanted to re-home them! And I still have the momma anthurium as well as 6 of the seedlings 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱πŸ₯°

Wow...it's great your babies are going to a wonderful home and he was delighted with them and the extra plants you "threw" in!

I'm also going to give a few away...
WOW!!! I’ve killed so many of these. How did you do it?
@captainstardust lol πŸ€ͺ they can be a lot. But for my climate I found a shallow pot, because they have shallow roots, succulent mix for aeration, and top watering worked πŸ™ŒπŸ‘! I know a lot of people say never top water, but for me a shallow pot with a light amount of watering from above, made all the difference. I’m in coastal California so humidity always in 50-80% range. No a/c to dry out the air. And heater used for a few months out of the year. I’ve propped several times and have kept 2 that are only a few years old. Pearlita is about 6 yrs old. I couldn’t bring myself to trim her back, I wanted her to go somewhere where she could hang. πŸ₯°πŸ₯Ή
Oh and @captainstardust bright indirect light! As bright as you can get it but not direct. Some winter direct sun is okay here in early morning or late afternoon. Otherwise it scorches the pearls.
