Meet one of my new pals! #Philodendron 'El Choco Red'
I've been searching and dreaming of this one for some time. It's been quite difficult to get a hold of one here in Brazil. I know it's known for being somewhat difficult to take care of, but I'm going to accept the challenge - LOVE this plant, and it fits my love for philos and latin american plants.
Its leaves are just beautiful, though the back is not yet as red as it will become. Cannot WAIT to see it develop! Especially once it attaches to the pole!

@Ninabeena I know, right! I keep finding philos I didn’t know existed too, especially of Latin American origin, which is amazing for me since I’m Brazilian. I want them all!
@BP1973 I got him from my usual vendor/consultant, but I live in Brazil and got the very last one they had! I was lucky I guess!
@Ninabeena same! Just got a new stand for my room and I’m looking for what’s gonna fill up the space lol
