I just wanted to share Lilith’s progress with you all. I purchased this Monstera Obliqua from Etsy back in November of last year. The listing was “1 leaf rooted”. I was so excited until the leaf shriveled up and fell off…I kept on caring for it though - it was too expensive just to throw out…I’m so happy I kept her! Tonight she decided to open up her first leaf annnnnd more are coming!!! Whew!!! I bought it prior to reading up on the actual care for it…I did learn, however, that they can adapt to lower humidity. This is one of my 6 different types of monsteras. They are my favorite type of plant ever. @EnchantedOasis that is so awesome. Congrats! There is no better feeling than saving one after all the time, effort and special care. I have a Desert Rose like that. I bought a tiny plug last summer and it just slowly started to die off, I was about to toss it and I even removed it from Greg app but then I watched a YouTube video showing how to cut it back and put cinnamon on top of the cut so it would callous over/dry out. It took several weeks, but it grew a new branch and have lots of new growth now. It’s still tiny and I’m still learning but it looks even healthier now than it did when I first got it. That is half of fun of it, right?! We have see if we can work our magic and make it grow!
