How to fertilize Field Tephrocactus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Field Tephrocactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I’ve had this pinecone cactus over a year now and it’s got to be the most boring cactus ever. It must know my displeasure with it because now I see it doing “something”. What I’m not sure. But nice to something. One teeny and one bigger fuzzy nubbin. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #CactusClique #PineConeCactus #FreshLeafFriday #SucculentSquad

What are these? 🧐 Hello everyone! So I added a few cacti to this bowl from various plant shops this weekend, but the #PaperSpineCactus came with a few succulent stragglers in its nursery pot. Any idea what these guys are? I saw some possible IDs on Google image search, but they seemed too small yet to make a definitive answer. Any guesses out there?

Can someone tell me what cactus is it? #Peyote

Poor guy was a birthday present to me and had a rough trip through the mail. Lost all of his leaves. But some TLC and a whole lot of sunshine brought them all back! #transformationtuesday #cactusclique #happyplants #newgrowth #plantshelfie

Shriveling up? #TephrocactusGeometricus When I got this, the soil was drenched but still looked healthy. I took it out of the pot and let it dry out for 4 days before repotting. It’s been about 2-3 weeks and it’s starting to wrinkle and is less firm. I watered it and it’s more wrinkly. The top ball is firm and starting to push out white fuzzies. Did I mess up? How do I fix it?

My little paper spine has sprouted a little arm. I’m so proud of it! #PaperSpineCactus

Kiefer: Now what? Hello Greg friends; looking for advice on what it is Kiefer here wants next. Obviously we are in a growth mode up top, but how about the lower tier (note color difference between tiers)? Should I detach the top and treat it as its own non-Kiefer separate plant, or is this just how this plant as a whole wishes to proceed? (Also, unrelated but adorable: Check out those two wee barbs up top! ❤️) #pineconecactus #cactusclique

Should I take it inside? Hello it's my Tephrocsctus geometrus. Place that I live it will be cloudy and rainy 3 days, it's 15 - 20° celisius in a daytime and around 10° at night should I take it inside? I got it 2 days ago, it was on shipping a week, it's newly start rooting, there is small root coming out yet. And I just reilize it's get a little soft when I touch.
