How to fertilize Black Bat Flower

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Black Bat Flower after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I’m likely killing it 🤣 I just got this a couple of weeks ago and I’m not sure what light needs it has. The app is saying that it needs direct sunlight, google says otherwise and the care instructions were ambiguous. I moved her to a coffee cup until I make it to Lowe’s tomorrow. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The stem is firm with no rot. Large bulb at the end with light colored roots.

She has yellow spots and brown tips on her leaves and any of the new growth that is coming out almost immediately turns brown and shrivels up. I'm not sure if maybe water quality is the problem? And if so, does anyone have a recommendation? #BlackBatFlower

Browning leaves and just not happy 😟 My black bat flower is not doing well and I'm not sure what the problem is... I tried moving her to a shadier spot but then she wasn't drying out between waters and got a bit of a fungus in addition to the browning leaves. So I moved her back but she's still just not happy. I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe water quality?

I think Greg might be having me over water this plant. It gets very dramatic after a day or two without water but after 5days I checked the soil and the bottom feels water logged.

I have never seen this plant flower so forgive the silly question, but is this the flower starting? It's like 2 leaves with something poofy inside. If so, why would these pop up and die immediately? This is the 3rd and 4th that's died. #BlackBatFlower #help

browning edges #BlackBatFlower my black bat plant sprouted a new leaf about 10 days ago and it’s been slowly opening more since. i noticed the tip turning brown 4 days ago (i last watered her 5 days ago). i’m not sure why she’s not thriving. i keep a cool mist humidifier in the same room. should i be concerned / do something different?
