Finding light for Pilea mongolica in your home
a window
Pilea mongolica may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Pilea mongolica in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Pilea mongolica
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pilea mongolica after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Any ideas on how to help my chinese money plant? Hey everyone! My Chinese money plant has been turning a little bit pale and there’s these white spots on its older leaves. It gets some direct sunlight in the afternoon. I thought it was getting too much light so I moved it to a place with less light and it started getting leggy. It has been popping out some babies so I’m not sure if it’s healthy or if this is normal. It is a little leggy too but when that happens I water it and it hasn’t regained its strength and I watered it two days ago. Thanks for any tips! #ChineseMoneyPlant #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #PlantTherapy

Saved this crispy girl from Target. My husband actually told me to get her and save her, it was really cute❤️ she is a bit crispy and it was clear she hadn’t been watered in a long time. I watered her when I got home and put it in a good indirectly sunny spot. She already perked up! I’ve never had one of these before so any tips are appreciated! Should I cut off crispy leaves with a lot of green still or leave them be? Let me know! #FriendshipPlant
