Finding light for Bold Sword Fern in your home

a window
Bold Sword Fern can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.

How to fertilize Bold Sword Fern

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Bold Sword Fern after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can someone help please?? My neighbor gave me this beautiful fern yesterday but it’s in rough shape. I gave it a hair cut, watered and let it sit yesterday. Any suggestions on what I can do next other than repotting to bring it back to life? Also any suggestions on what size pot I should go to? The nursery pot it’s currently in looks to be about 10.5 inches and the new fronds are growing out of the bottom holes of the pot. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict

Possible low light? Hi everyone! I have a Boston Fern that was doing great until a couple of weeks ago. Recently, I’ve noticed that some of the fronds are drooping, and there are also a few yellowing fronds. The plant is in a spot where in winter gets less hours of natural light, and it’s placed about 1 meter (3 feet) away from a heater. Could this be caused by insufficient light, or is it more likely due to the dry heat from the heater? Thanks in advance for your help! #BostonFern
