How to fertilize Red prayer plant
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Red prayer plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Could Monstera spray fertiliser be used on my Red Prayer Plant? I was gifted this lovely red prayer plant for my birthday a few days ago. I've called him "Prego". I have dozens of plants but I've never owned a prayer plant before. I believe I found a good location for light, but I'm curious about plant food. I do use very nice granule nutrients in the water for my plants about once or twice a month (not in winter) but I have also been using GardenNova spray fertilisers every month during growing season. They make plant-specific sprays, and they've really been good for my other plants. However, they don't make on specifically for prayer plants. Do you think monstera plants have similar nutritional needs to prayer plants? (The company makes a spray for monstera plants).

Should I repot? I potted this plant from the store into a decorative unglazed ceramic pot without any drainage but it is thriving in it. It’s at work by an east facing window and I give it a big drink of the filtered drinking water we have every Monday. Now I have a clear plastic pot I can repot him in to insert into the decorative pot but honestly, I’m afraid to mess with him because he’s doing amazing as he is.

To prune or not to prune? 🤔 How much is too much when it comes to pruning and how often? 🤔 I clipped off a few of these leaves since I got this prayer plant and i’d like to trim off a few more of the raggedy looking leaves but i’m scared i’m going to hurt this beautiful monstrosity by pruning it again.. 😅 #GregGang #NewGrowth #RedPrayerPlant #PrayerPlant #HappyPlants

Prayer plant in trouble? Hello, I’m wondering what is wrong with my green prayer plant. It does not seem to be growing or producing new leaves. The stems seem like they can’t hold up. Should I try to straighten up the prayer plant using an anchor? I have been spritzing at least daily and using a humidifier. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions. #greenprayerplants#plantsmakepeoplehappy
