Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Leucobryum cucullatum var. cucullatum after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Is this white moss? It is in a tiny terrarium I bought off of Etsy. Thank you for your help.

This past weekend I went to a video game music festival called Super Magfest Melee at the National Harbor near DC. I couldn't even escape that without a plant! I got this super cute Totoro terrarium filled with Pillow/Pincushion Moss. It was hard to decide because the booth had many different ones filled with many different video game and anime characters, but Totoro was really the one that was speaking to me at the time. My little plant/video game/anime nerd heart is so full right now haha! 😌 Who knew I'd go to a convention and leave with a plant? 🤭😆 #PlantAddict #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #nerdsunite #nerdsofgreg #HappyPlants #AnimeandPlants #videogames #PLANTMAFIA #Terrarium #DMVGregGang
