How to fertilize Eyerman's Laelia
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Eyerman's Laelia after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Even more great news - and on time for #freshleaffriday too: My Fighting Kate (my most vigorous cattleya (species) seedling) is growing herself a new pseudobulb. I am pretty certain she only does that once a year, and apparently she survived this difficult time acclimating to my apartment and her repot without any major setback and root loss - which is a marvel, especially since she is still this tiny. I am absolutely psyched 🥳🌿🥳 you go, girl!!! 🥳🌿🥳 Now only to keep the mites away from her... 😬 #plantsmakepeoplehappy #orchidlovers

Question for the Greg Admins There seems to be an issue with my Laelia anceps (named fighting Kate in my oasis). Nothing major, but buggy nonetheless. From the beginning, the fertilizing notifications were slightly off, telling me I needed to identify my plant. Whereas in my oasis and my watering schedule, it appeared correctly (see pics) I already tried re-identifying it and checked if I happened to have a double, nothing changed. Now I wrote a post in which I linked it. Again, it tells me that it's not identified. It's not really an important or pressing issue, but should you look for bugs to work on in your free time, because you have nothing to do this Sunday: here is a weird one 😅 #gregfeedback
