Hottentot Fig may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.

How to fertilize Hottentot Fig

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Hottentot Fig after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

my Nina has brown spots and a shriveled leaf! Any ideas as to what is wrong! It was close to a shaded lamp, so I moved it away today! Notice the photos from May 12th( the 1st 2 pictures), then the ones from today( May 21st)! Looked healthy on May 12th! #HottentotFig

It only took like three days, but I think I've finally finished with #picturedayfall2022. My oasis is finally updated with new pics, fixed all the plant cards, and I'm pretty sure I finally have all my plants logged too! 🙃🤙✌️🖤 #pothospack #sedum #iceplant #hottentotfig #Skaði #TuffboiTheComebackKid #wickedvalkyrie

My plant isn’t doing so well. Thinking of reporting or propagating. If I propogate how would I go about it? #HottentotFig

Can't remember if it was @dreamlettuce or @strawberrymoon who posted about smelling their succs like forever ago, but today as I was tending to my #iceplant I noticed she's started smelling really sweet like fruit! Couldn't quite place which fruit tho... I have no idea what figs smell like, so maybe it was figs. She is called a #hottentotfig after all... Lol 🤔🤷 #succulentsquad #succulentlove #whatthesuccwednesday #carpobrotusedulis #sourfig #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #socalgreg #socalsucculents #wickedvalkyrie
