How to fertilize Hibiscus Tree
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Hibiscus Tree after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I have a hibiscus tree, brought it in for winter. Loosing all its leaves. Turning yellow. Why?

Does anyone know what’s this brown yellow spot on my hibiscus? I just got the plant about 2 weeks ago.

How do I save my plant? I’m not sure why the leaves are yellowing and it’s getting droopy. I just bought it about a week ago. I use tropical soil and put it in this white plastic pot. Greg is saying it still doesn’t need water but it looks dehydrated to me?

My hibiscus is planted in the ground, May 2025. Do I need to dig it up and store it inside for winter? #ChineseHibiscus

Why does My Tropical Hibiscus not bloom its buds? I have 2 Chinese Hibiscus planted in the same pot, one of them blooms just fine and everything is well (the bright red/orange). The other one makes buds but never opens its flowers… Why is that? Both are Planted in well draining soil, has a top layer of lava rock (as a munch, somehow this helped my hibiscus plants from drying out too much) and fed a rose fertilizer that has the same NPK ratio a high end Hibiscus Fertilizer has. 12-4-8 This is also my first question/post on the app, I’m trying to get better with gardening lingo. She needs constant moisture, so I water her every other day. Also, needs a lot of direct sunlight. The blooms are FANTASTIC and fragrant, though they typically last only a couple days. But I love that you can take the fallen blooms and dry them to make tea!
As long as you care for hibiscus, she won’t let you down!
