How to fertilize Gasteraloe 'Flow'

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Gasteraloe 'Flow' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Started cute, turning ugly I bought my Flow 2 years ago and it was pretty picturesque. The leaves were plump, shorter and overall more compacted. The new leaves have gradually been growing longer and thinner, and are much lighter in color than when I first got it. It gets direct sunlight about 3 hours a day and indirect 5-6 hours the rest of the day. Is it supposed to look so flimsy as it grows older?

Well hello babies!👶🌱🌱🌱 Spiky has finally been separated from his kids, well overdue😆 And got himself a little trim. 13 babies he had 👀 Now I'm just trying to make a better soil for him and his kids so we don't get more of those ugly brown spots😅 And now I know he likes it a little cooler in winter to get fat☺️ But I don't dare to cut all of his spiny growth off yet, maybe next time 🤔 #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantbabies #babyplants #whatthesuccwednesday #succulentsquad #succulentlove #freshleaffriday #newgrowth #adhdplantlovers

Will this leaf reopen? Vera, who was my first plant, got a little sick as I learned how to care for plants. She's getting better and is beautiful again, but will this leaf uncurl? It curled when she got overwatered. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #succulentlove #succulentsquad

What's wrong with my Gasteraloe? I keep her in low light for 6+ hours a day, and I'm seeing the bottom of her leaves beginning to look yellow and squishy. I just repotted to a pot with drainage and looked at the roots, and it didn't seem that there was any rot. Her soil has really good drainage as far as I can see. What's going on? #gasteraloe #gasteria #succulentsquad #succulentlove

Just replaced Vera's decorative moss with soil! She should be happier now.

Is this sunburn or sun stress? I was looking at Vera today (I've had her for maybe a month or less), and I saw the part of her that gets the most sun was tinted brown. What is this? The leaves still feel the same as the green ones, so I'm thinking it may be sun stress, but I'm still unsure.

Any advice for getting cats to stop eating my plants? Not sure if this one will recover.

Follow up to my succulent post from yesterday, I picked up some premixed succulent soil from the store and attempted repotting Allie. I'm pretty sure it's the first time I've ever attempted repotting a plant - fingers crossed that I didn't do her dirty and that she'll pull through! 🤞🏻🪴 #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Gasteraloe
