How to fertilize Echeveria 'Dusty Rose'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Echeveria 'Dusty Rose' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Getting super tall and falling over #succulentlove Ive had him weighted down with rocks for a while now. What, if anything, should I do for this old guy? I'm scared to even move or repot it. Don't want to break his leaves.

What should I do with this echeveria that didn't get enough sun during the depths of winter and is now very leggy :-( I recently put her outside for a few days, and she loved it! Her stalk turned red and her top leaves look like the color they're supposed to be when she's in full sun. I had to bring her back in bc it got cold and rainy again, and she dropped a lot of leaves and the bottom of her does not look well. What would you recommend I do here? Behead her and replant? I just don't know. Thank you Greg fam 💚 @vvvelo I feel like you might have some good advice for me here :-)) #succulentsquad #succulentlove #echeveria #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy

Some activities from #WhatTheSuccWednesday that I didn’t get to post yesterday 🪴 1. Repotted my dusty rose echeveria 2. Made an arrangement with some succulents that have needed a repot, or some that have been struggling so I tried something new, what do I have to lose? I ended up adding one more pachyphytum ‘moonsilver’ afterwards so there is 4 total now, they have been in my oasis for almost a year & the roots are super healthy, so hopefully they can adjust to the new home. This pot also has two echeveria ‘Seraphina’ 1 large, 1 small. they both have been really tough, the roots are so fine & delicate that they are tricky. The left one beside the Seraphina is Pachyphytum ‘Starburst’, which has also been a tricky one for me as well. I’m hoping maybe they will do better together, I’ve always had good luck with my arrangements. 🤞🏻🪴✨ 3. Sedeveria ‘Dark Elf’ soaking up some sun ☀️ 4. Another arrangement I put together, I used my Ice plant that was suffering from spider mites but is doing better now! Also contains (1) ‘cob web’ hens&chicks, (1) crassula string of buttons, & one golden sedum. 🌿 5. Sedeveria ‘Lilac Mist’ has been doing great since I got her and repotted. I really like sedeveria I’ve had good luck with them & they seem to be pretty low maintenance! 💜 #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #Sedeveria #Echeveria #arrangements #repotted #PlantLove #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

Happy Monday #GregGang 🌱 I hope everyone had a great weekend, & start of the week. Today I visited a new nursery, in Apex. I’ve never been there but I was so amazed by the variety of plants for indoor and out! It was hard not to go crazy, but I only walked out with two plants! 🙀😂 1. painter’s palette (anthurium andraeanum) 🎨 2. Andromischus cooperi (similar to calico hearts, just a different leaf shape) 3. Echeveria from my haul a couple weeks ago. It was starting to etoliate at the store, it’s already looking better, I’m slowly introducing it to more light. If anyone knows what type of echeveria this is, please comment! #PlantID #identify #PlantInfo #echeveria 4. Another repot, graptopetalum ‘ghosty’, they all have babies growing! 5. Green pearl echeveria got a repot as well. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #SucculentLove #Succulents #Graptopetalum #Anthurium #Andromischus #SucculentSquad #Succulent #repotting #NewPlants

Does everyone else see what I’m seeing?! What am I doing that’s causing this?? All of these succulents are naked from the neck down!!!! Why?!?! Is it watering or light or a combination of the two? It’s weird because would you say some looked stretched?? Kind of?? They are in my sunroom where 3 of the 4 walls are south and south west facing windows with no curtains or shades of any kind. They are also under grow lights that are on 24/7. I live in NEPA and even in the middle of summer in my sunroom I don’t get enough light to stress them to color. The grow lights fix the issue but only if they’re on all the time. As you can obviously see in the pics, they need to be watered and im just getting ready to do so. I bottom water with all of these guys. I feel I should also mention that my sunroom has 2 small humidifiers that run basically 24/7 as well. The high temp in my sunroom today was 74.8 and the low was 71.6. The humidity was at a high of 80% and a low of 78%. Could that be the issue?? High humidity levels?? I’m def doing something wrong….anyone wanna bite? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #PetsAndPlants #PlantCorner #SucculentSquad #Succulents #GregGang #GreggersSupportingGreggers #Greggers #Echeveria #pachyphytumstarburst #Pachyphytum

Late night re-potting! Finally managed to get over my executive dysfunction and repot some succulents that needed it. Echeveria featured: 1) 'Elsa' 2) 'Autumn Flame' 3) 'Giant Blue' 4) 'Lola' I suspected that the Elsa was getting root bound and, uh, yeah. Glad I checked 😳 She's all potted up in a slightly larger home. Can't wait to see how much she grows this fall. The lighting in my house is terrible, but oh man, the Autumn Flame and Giant Blue is 😍👍🏻🔥💙 Full sun will do wonders for a plant. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #plantmafia #planttherapy #succulentsquad #succulentlove #succulent #whatthesuccwednesday #whatthesucc #echeveria
