How to fertilize Fitria Snake Plant

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Fitria Snake Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Should I put my bamboo in a pot with rocks and water (how I bought it )

Why so droopy? Hey all - can anyone help me figure out why this poor guy is looking so sad? Too much water, not enough water, too much sun, something else?

How do I treat my Dracaena Tornado Dragon for brown leaves? I have had a Tornado Dragon plant for about 6 weeks and it isn’t doing well. Its leaves are very thin and droopy. There is hardly any firmness to them at all. The leaves are also turning brown and dying. This leaf loss began at the bottom of the plant and it is working its way up. It has lost about half of its leaves. I have googled for info about what us going on and generally the issue appears to be lighting and underwatering. It needs an eastern exposure so I’m moving it. That should help. The advice on watering is very contradictory. Depending on the website the advice is to water it every 12 days or so after letting it dry out. Or, never let it dry out. Water when just the top inch or so of soil is dry. The roots are in good shape and the stem is also. There’s no mushiness anywhere. I have been treating it the same way as my other snake plants by letting it dry out completely. What should I do? It’s so very sad-looking! 😭 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #GregGang #Dracaena #SnakePlant #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad

Repotting glued Lucky Bamboo Kendall is getting yellow leaves and is definitely outgrowing her digs. The glazed ceramic pot is about 4” wide at bottom and tapers to 2” wide at the top, and is 4” tall. Pretty sure I’ll have to break her out with a hammer. Hopefully I can get the glue off her too.. What size/kind of pot should I put her in and what medium of soil/pebbles, etc? #luckybamboo #halp #poorbaby

so like, whenever i trimmed the leaves it smelled like bananas, just thought it was silly #Dracaena

💨 Humidity
Fitria Snake Plant enjoys lots of humidity. Provide humidity for your plant by watering regularly and thoroughly, since plants absorb most water through their root system rather than their leaves. They may also benefit from being placed next to a humidifier.
🪴 Soil
Fitria Snake Plant is very sensitive to wet soil, so choose a potting soil that drains very well and doesn’t retain too much moisture. A good soil will have lots of perlite or vermiculite for drainage and some organic matter for nutrition. A few handfuls of perlite added to regular store-bought cactus soil will do the trick!
💩 Fertilizer
Fitria Snake Plant grows very slowly and doesn’t require added fertilizer. Replacing your plant’s potting soil once a year should provide them with more than enough nutrition. Remember, plants get their energy from sunlight, not fertilizer!
❄️ Dormancy
It’s common for Fitria Snake Plant to go dormant in the wintertime and you may notice their growth slow down. Waterings should be spaced out more during this time.
🌎 Native Region
Fitria Snake Plant is native to Africa to Southern Asia and Australia.
🧐 Troubleshooting
When troubleshooting a sad-looking houseplant, start by checking for signs of distress in its leaves, such as yellowing, browning, or drooping, which can indicate overwatering or nutrient deficiencies.
Inspect the soil moisture; too dry or too wet soil can cause problems.
Ensure the plant is getting the right amount of light, as too much or too little can stress it.
Finally, consider environmental factors like temperature and humidity, and adjust care routines accordingly to revive your plant.
