How to fertilize African Spear
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your African Spear after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Tips to nurture back to health Severe transplant / culture shock. I think it started to go downhill when I took off the twist ties thinking I was helping it breathe now it’s just sad and I severely under watered it so it’s been crispy and a whole stalk got yellow so I just chopped it and trimmed off all the dead leaves. Last night I SOAKED IT. Tips to help recover? Things to look out for??

Yellowing Leaves? This is a newer friend, brought home a few weeks ago and had some transplant yellowing; still in its nursery pot, seemingly new soil and getting some yellow leaves. It’s in a room with constant ambient light, gets direct sun on the pot maybe an hour a day but never on the actual leaves. Only watered once (with fertilizer, wondering if that’s an issue?) since it’s been home; any tips on stopping the yellowing? #Dracaena
