How to fertilize Dog Rose
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Dog Rose after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Dog Rose Is Not Flowering I'm such a bad plant owner 😭. I bought these roses a few months ago because they were on sale and they have become all withered and the flowers are all gone. Can I still save it or is it dead? What does everyone think? #plantsavers Thank you. #rosecalathea #help #dyingplant #plantsmakepeoplehappy #planttherapy

#FreshLeafFriday I was worried when I bought these roses they only came in two colors but this blush pink was hiding. It is so magnificent to me when I see natural gradients! It’s beautiful. #godscreation

Happy #FreshLeafFriday #GregGang I saw this little beauty at the grocery store and I just had to have it I’m currently keeping it outside because they way overwatered it and some fresh air will hopefully dry it out more naturally than inside.

Is this color normal? I've had thease dog roses for a couple years now and they've been thriving on the edge of my kitchen garden, but I noticed this year that some of the new foliage has turned this burgundy. We've had a couple cooler nights here after a hot spell, so it might just be normal, but I honestly cant remember if this happened to them before. But I feel like I've seen similar things on other rosebushes. I haven't changed what I am putting in the soil, just bloodmeal and repels-all to keep vermin away, although this is the first year I've done cedar mulch. I don't dislike the color, and as long as they're healthy I'm ok with the change, I just worry this is a plant distress signal that means they need help. #newgrowth #outdoorgrowing #help

Is this normal? Is it normal for a Dog Rose to have 2 types of patterns? I’ve never seen a rose bush do this! #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #OutdoorGrowing
