Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.

This is one of my favorite plants. It blooms constantly and has so many pretty flowers. It was happy in the filtered sunlight through the trees around my house and moist soil. Bloomed all summer long and into winter until I forgot to bring it inside before it froze. Definitely recommend.
