How to care for Cape Jasmine
Cape Jasmine needs 0.5 cups of water every 9 when it doesn’t get direct sunlight and is potted in a 5" pot.
Use our water calculator to personalize watering recommendations to your environment or download Greg for more advanced recommendations for all of your plants.
Cape Jasmine may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Cape Jasmine in your home 🏡.
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Cape Jasmine after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.
What other plant parents say
Keanu Leaves is not thriving to say the least. I am not giving up yet, but I fear soon I will have to remove Keanu from life support 🥺. I’ve followed all Greg’s advice and tips from online and nothing helps. The best guess I have is the climate, (we live in the great lakes area) tho the plant is indoors....the apartment is drafty, the owner controls the heat and lowers it at night. I have a grow light sooo...idk 🤷🏼. I show the entire “Oasis” lots of love, attention and sing super rad 80’s new wave to the residents every day. 🤔Do u think it could b Keanu Leaves is telling me they hate OMD and Depeche Mode? I’m at a loss...🤦🏼
