How to fertilize Assorted Cactus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Assorted Cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

#CactusClique #SucculentSquad #PlantMail I have been a bit neglectful in my posts lately. I got the last plant mail about a week ago, so it’s high time that I show off the latest acquisitions. Ferocactus Emoryi is first. The next one is the Mangave „Praying Hands“ it is still a very young plant, but they are supposed to be fast growers. BTW a Mangave plant is a cross between a Manfreda and an Agave! Then there’s the „Bad Hair Day“ Mangave. Followed by the Euphorbia Japonica and the Dutchman‘s pipe cactus. And that’s all for now! I’m trying very hard to control my impulse buying urge and it’s becoming very difficult to do so! Any ideas how to get it under control? Chew gum, take a walk, leave the credit cards at home when shopping?

Somebody with a gorgeous frizzle sizzle helped me out quite awhile ago with mine. Darn no search function..I want to thank whoever it was!! I moved mine to a shadier spot and that did the trick. It got down to one green stalk and then stared making more. #FrizzleSizzle #CactusClique #SucculentSquad

Any advice/Confirm identity I bought it from Lowe’s yesterday, I got the wrong type of pot and will change it to a terracotta soon. I have no south facing windows in my appartment so I’m considering getting a grow lamp. And it’s currently potted in a 4in glazed clay pot with cactus soil. I’m brand new to plants in general so I’m hoping to keep this one alive so I can confidently start a little collection. It came labeled as #NotocactusElegans. But it was $4 in a clearance section and not 100% confident on the labeling of it. If any one can help confirm the ID of it. I’ve included a picture of what I’m assuming is an old bud/flower still on it. Based on photos I’ve looked up I believe the bud is pretty low on the body of the plant for it to be a Notocactus Elegans. Thank you! #Cactus #CactusClique

Is my cactus going to flower? So I haven’t had a cactus since I was in high school & my mom drowned it while I was gone for a week, so I never saw it do much but get taller. I recently got 2 cacti & my drooping prickly pear is doing something. I’m not sure what these do as they get taller so I wasn’t sure if this was new growth or if it’s going to flower. It’s on every single little part protruding out. #DroopingPricklyPear #newflower #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #CactusClique

Hello! I wanted to make sure this cactus is correctly identified. Greg and Google ID says Bunny Ears. I know it is not that. I thought Mexican Pincushion. Please weigh in with your thoughts. #HappyPlants #CactusClique #Cactus #GregGang

Scale or scarring? 🤔 Apparently this posted twice, somehow... Sorry for the double post, folks! I've got this #dragonfruit cactus that I got from @Colin a few months ago and I've noticed these light brown markings on it... I'm entirely unsure if there's more of them than when I first got it cuz my memory sucks butts... Anyways, what do y'all think? It's it anything to be worried about or is it probably nothing? Also, is it normal for the edges to be brown like that? #cactusclique #pestcontrol #socalgreg #socalcacti #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #WickedValkyrie #BackPorchBois @SirLiquorice @RJG @KrunchyWrapz @dreamlettuce @roxyvivien

My sister has been out of town all week and my son and I have been taking care of her dogs. None of her cacti made it thru the cold snap so I left her a little present for when she gets home tonight ☺️ #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Opuntia #CactusClique

This is probably a stupid question but... Does "var." in the plant name mean that it's variegated? I've noticed lighter/almost yellow spots on my "opuntia microdasys var. albispina" and I'm wondering if I should be concerned or if they are supposed to be there? @EAS (These pics are from November so not very recent, and it's dark rn so I can't get better ones...) Also need some direction on when to water... Had to bring it inside due to some critter outside repeatedly pulling it out of its pot... I don't see any wrinkling and was planning to wait about a month but wasn't sure if that was too long or if maybe I should wait even longer? Atm it's getting pretty limited/almost no sun because it's in quarantine and after moving so many plants inside I've run out of room but will move it into the plant room ASAP. The amount of glochids it has makes it pretty much impossible for me to see if there's any pests, etc but there does appear to be some "scabbing" in a few places... Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance y'all! #cactusclique #opuntia #opuntiamicrodasys #eastaustinsucculents #cactus #socalgreg #socalcacti #WickedValkyrie
