About McColley's Finale
Philodendrons grow aerial roots that grip the bark of trees, allowing them to grow over 20 feet tall! Their leaves change shape as they climb and can grow larger than a dinner plate. Fossils show Philodendrons growing as far back as 30 million years ago when South America was still connected to Antarctica! ❄️

How to fertilize McColley's Finale
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your McColley's Finale after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hello friends with McColley’s Finales 👋 Sadly my plant is tied in knots. The newest leaves are not unfurling as you might expect! This has happened with the last three. “Being patient” does not appear to be a winning strategy. Suggestions? #Philodendron

Why her leaves and stems became droopy ? I tried to put her in humidifier and grow light and after that i tried to give systemic granules and fungicides as well with my all other plants. But after 2 -3 days, nothing change. #Philodendron

What happened? I noticed the spot and yellowing a few days ago. And noticed today it had gotten worse. I just chopped it off, cause I know it wasn’t going to bounce back lol. The other leaves look great. When I repotted it the roots looked pretty good also. Just curious. Thanks in advance

#Philodendron Help This plant was simply labeled philodendron. Anyone in the community able to help me determine the cultivar? I realize it could be a standard blushing but the coppery, orange leaves make me think maybe #PrinceofOrange or #mccolleysfinale ?? There is a new leaf ready to unfurl so I am assuming based on the color it will give me a better idea. What do you think #GregGang #PlantAddict #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

What to do with these tiny (rotten?) roots? I was watering my McColley’s Finale today and saw how loose it was in the soil - and discovered these weirdly tiny roots! Are they rotten? Should I try & propagate it? Or plant it? ….or bury it in the plant graveyard? Any suggestions welcome! #Philodendron #RootPorn #PropagationStation #WeirdPlants

Help! My Mcolley’s Finale isn’t happy. The leaves at the top have been unfurling literally for months. And are those nodes or roots sticking out of the stem? What should I do?

I think I'm over the PPPP (Pink princess Philodendron Phase). Once I have realized how many beautiful philodendrons I have, who needs a pink one? I have a green one, a red one, a blushing one, and orange one, and probably 300 or so more. You can't go wrong with philodendrons. They are really incredible and beautiful plants.
