Finding light for Persian Shield in your home

Persian Shield may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.

How to fertilize Persian Shield
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Persian Shield after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Here is my regrown Persian shield plant. In February, it was eaten down to a nub by a rat. This is one of my favorite plants and need to say I was pretty upset when I saw it. There was actually nothing left about except a half an inch and a couple small leaves. I’ve been working for months on this plant in order to get it to come back. It’s doing very well. This is the same plant that was in the blue pot in my oasis. That was prior to the rat, eating it. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #NewPlantMom #SucculentLove #RarePlants #PropagationStation @AdonicKohleria2 @BabeVila @BuffCaperspurge @DreamMachine @FamedGymealily @HFplantoasis @princesspitstop #OutdoorGrowing @GreatestYuzu9 @MamaLinne

How to encourage branching? #StrobilanthesDyeriana I just got this plant I am curious on how to encourage branching to make it fuller? Does it branch on its own over time or will I need to prune to encourage it to branch out?

I just got a one of my first plants (that being a Persian shield) and I read online that you have to keep the soil moist as it doesn’t like it dry. How do I know when it needs water if I can’t tell my feeling the soil which is what I do for my other plant?

I don't know what's wrong, i bought the plant a month ago, and now it's wilting and losing its leaves. #StrobilanthesDyeriana

My leaves are dry. Less than a month old. Some smaller leaves seem fine, but larger leaves are dry. Help! #StrobilanthesDyeriana

I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I follow Greg's watering schedule and only water if she needs to be watered on the day suggested. I keep her within 3 feet of an East facing window. Yet her leaves are dry, crumbly, and falling off. Please help me/her #StrobilanthesDyeriana

My persian shield is 4-5 inch single stem starter plant. It got knocked over and broke. And it's about a half of an inch tall now & roots intact. Will it grow again or is it a lost cause? #StrobilanthesDyeriana
