How to fertilize Crassula tecta
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Crassula tecta after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

How do I control this plant? It’s been growing quite well since it’s been getting more sunlight, but should I prune it at some point? I get the feeling that two new shoots are forming where I cut, leading to exponential growth 😅. However, there are already a few spots with aerial roots that would be suitable for propagating I think. #Crassula

Pruning tips for Jade (Gollum)? Got this plant at a garden sale and I want to prune it and propagate the cuttings so it’s not as leggy (you can see it leaning over in the pics). Looking for a tips as I’ve propagated jade, but never cut the whole plant back to repot it. In the pic I held the sharpie around where I want to cut back the stem. Thanks in advance! 💚🌿🌱 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #Jade #GollumJade #CuttingsClub

Is she gonna be ok? I’m wondering if this was a good move for my jade. She hasn’t grown since i got her. Is this direct sunlight? She’s right on the window ledge facing east.

Care tips for beautiful old jade #Crassula #Jade I recently inherited this beautiful old jade plant. The bark is flaky but not mushy. Some leaves are yellowing, but they still feel firm. The soil is dark and old, and it is covered with bonsai moss that gets hard when dry. As for the babies, only the middle one has roots and is hanging on. It has been like this for at least the past few months, but I do not know what happened before. I think the old soil holds too much water, but I am worried that repotting will shock the plant. What would you do? Any tips for an old jade?
