Finding light for Koda in your home
a window
Koda love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Koda does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Koda in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Koda
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Koda after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Bonsai Tree Needs Help :( I got this tree in December, and it had been doing okay, but it was getting dried out from the winter air. I tried to make a sort of greenhouse by putting a large plastic bag over it (not sealed) and watered it, and then overnight all the leaves turned brown and stiff. I've changed the soil from the kind that came with it (idk what soil it was), to a succulent soil to prevent root rot, but not much has changed. Is there anything I can do to help it, or should I let it go? #fukienteatree #planttherapy #planthelp

Is there any saving him? I’m so disappointed in myself because my Fukien tea tree was doing amazing 😭 but then I got very busy and waited a little too long to water him and now he looks like this… is there any saving him or is he gone? #help #savemyplant #FukienTeaTree

Recommendations for Grow Light I have two plants that need more light than I can provide via the sun. I have a grow light I got from eBay but tbh it’s kind of difficult to tell if it is working. Help? Thank you besties

My Fukien tea tree bonsai got a glow up today with new soil and new pot. I think this pot suits the tree well. Makes it a more feminine tree. Too bad it’s between bloom cycles right now because it would be so pretty. Going to give it some time to settle into the new pot and then will give it a clean up in the top to improve the roundness. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Bonsai #FukienTeaTree

Is there anyway I can get my leaves looking darker? These ones seem to be yellowing and bubbly, but they are still just as sturdy and hard as the rest of the dark leaves. It’s finally started new growth after suffering from spidermites. I’m concerned it might be either getting too much water or not enough fertilizer. Thanks in advance!

Can this plant still recover or is it already dead? I know they can lose all the leaves but it has been already a few months like that. I was watering it though. #FukienTeaTree

Bought this plan about a month ago on line. It seemed healthy. Now it has lost its leaves. How do I save it? Also I’ve a couple of tiny flies around. I have sprayed the plant with an insect made for plants spray. I would appreciate feedback. Thank you. #FukienTeaTree
