Help wanteddd! 🌿

I have these stackable pots that sit on top of eachother that stay on my porch—there’s randomly all this stuff growing and spreading on the soil!! We unstacked them and it got worse. What is this, and how can I stop it from spreading if possible? And are the plants still consumable? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #help #PlantCorner
Hi Taylor! That looks like a harmless mold that grows on the soil due to the soil being too wet. You can scrape it off and add new soil if it bothers you, but it won’t hurt your plants. I put a good amount of Cinnamon on my soil when I get that and it doesn’t come back, and I water less since that’s what causes it. I hope this helps!
You can do cinnamon or you can also use water and hydrogen peroxide diluted and make a spray. It will clean it up as well. If that’s dill, it’s kinda normal around dill to have it. At least mine was a moisture lover that way.
@SillyPlantGirl thank you so so much for letting me know, I greatly appreciate it! <33
