My aloe is just not rooting. I want to save her-- what do...

You guys helped me with her root and stem rot, which has thankfully stopped now. But it's been weeks and I'm not seeing any new growth-- she has been in a 2.5 inch pot. How do I stimulate root growth on her? She's sad, but still alive thankfully. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #propagationstation #aloevera #firebirdaloe #rootrot #help

Two(2) weeks is not altogether too long, @LittleSongbird when it comes to soil rooting... perhaps add a touch of Honey or Cinnamon again and reintroduce it to the soil then monitor it for 3-4 weeks.
Upside is that she has not deteriorated during the past two(2) weeks. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Did You put your Aloe plant back down in soil after clearing away the rot?
If youโ€™re water propagating, Iโ€™ve found that placing a vining stem with it helps root faster, like pothos or sweet potato vineโ€ฆsomething about the release of hormones signals the rooting. Also I dip my stems in rotting powder for a boost.
@JustPlainDee Yep! @KindOfABigDill Aloe doesn't really prop in water, but I agree!
Am I wrong but it looks like Iโ€™m seeing teeny little white roots? I wouldnโ€™t stick it in water. I would use root hormones too. However, if that isnโ€™t tiny roots, Iโ€™d be tempted to cut the bottom part off, dip in root hormones and try replanting. Iโ€™d make sure it was getting very bright, indirect light.
@BambooLover Pretty sure they aren't roots, lol.
I don't have rooting hormone on hand :/
Interesting indeed, @LittleSongbird... that she has not begun to rebound given that "it's been weeks." ๐Ÿค”

After clearing away the rotted parts, what did You do?
(just trying to catch up so we can find a path forward)

@JustPlainDee I put cinnamon on the end and then put in soil.
...... Ohkay, that's one(1) of my methods, @LittleSongbird ...I use Cinnamon or Honey.

I'm stumped that you've had NO success with it rooting.
@JustPlainDee Same here! Maybe I should wait a little longer... Should I invest in rooting hormone right about now?
Nooooo... the end looks reeeaaally dried, shriveled even, I wouldn't advise to wait longer. Two(2) days would have been sufficient for callusing.

If You have Honey available, You could use it as your rooting agent, @LittleSongbird (it is a natural antifungal and growth stimulant) ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ
@JustPlainDee Are you sure? I rechecked, itโ€™s been 2 weeks. Also, it's not really that dry when touched, but not damp either.
You've had it callusing for two(2) weeks, @LittleSongbird?
@justplaindee I meant that it's been in soil for 2 weeks ๐Ÿ˜…
