Is this normal?

They're just a few leaves at a time, getting black and then falling off. Some of the new growth is doing the same thing. Is this just something that happens? #plantaddict #newgrowth #help #umbrellatree

Mine did the same for awhile when I first took it outside for the spring/summer and then it just stopped. I am not certain what caused it but I kept caring for it the same as I always did. I, as you, was worried but it passed. @TeachablePeyote Maybe it needs time to adapt to a new location. Have you moved it recently?
@Imissmydeaddog he gets water when the soil is dry and he doesn't receive direct sunlight in either place, and it is doing this in both spots. 😞
Do you have it indoors? I’ve had one for a number of years and it seems to do pretty well with indirect light.

Perhaps it’s getting a little sunburnt?

This app has some helpful care guides. :)
