I need help with my Puakenikeni
I recently transferred my Puakenikeni plant into the ground. The but the past few days it seems like my plant is slowly dying. I donβt know if Iβm under or over watering or if where I planted it. The leaves are obviously drooping and the color of them are turning more yellow. And the pua arenβt really blooming. Iβm debating if I should put it back into a pot until it gets healthier. If anyone has any tips or suggestions please let me know.

Hi Kasey, welcome to Greg!
How long did you have your Puakenikeni before putting it in the ground?
This could be some transplant shock depending on how putting it in the ground went.
You're right that yellowing leaves are usually a sign of water due to stress. Can you walk us through how you watered her in the pot through now? Yellow usually means over watering but I've found with plants outdoors it can be a little tricker to narrow down.

@PlantMompy I have had this plant for about a year already. I felt like it was really thriving in the pot. But I wanted to grow bigger hence why I decided to move it into the ground.
When it was in its pot I would usually water it once a week unless it rained. When it was in the pot and now were both in direct sunlight (Iβm not sure if this is a factor)
Before planting it into the ground the leaves were drooping since I havenβt watered it in awhile but the leaves were still dark green. The plants has been in the ground for about a week and a half.
