Why are my arrowheads leaves turning brown?
I watered this plant a couple days ago when it started getting brown tipped leaves and it seemed to perk up. I cut off the leaves that were growing but now it’s getting brown tips again. What can I do to help? Also the leaves are becoming paler and just looking a lot less healthy. I need advice fast bc I fear this might be killing my plant. Hi @Plantcatfinatic 👋 it looks like sunburn to me. Syngonium likes gentle light so being 0.5 feet from a southern window is probably too much. Direct sunlight will scorch the leaves making them pale with brown crispy edges. Try moving her back out of direct rays, maybe 1.5 to 2 feet away? Or add something to filter the light. Maybe a sheer curtain or some type of sheer fabric.
@Plantcatfinatic I’ve been reading about moving plants and how it affects them. Plants are sessile meaning fixed in one place, so they don’t “get” being moved around by us. From what I’m reading they physically react to being moved and will not thrive. So wherever you move Arrow go gradually, like a little bit every couple of days. 🐌 🐢 😝
