#PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #TheWateringHole #AlocasiaAddicts #Alocasia @Shells_Garden @BabeVila @DreamMachine Please help 🫶 🙏🏻 I really mucked things up cutting the wrong leaf off 😩😤😩 I’m very ignorant when it comes to corms and would appreciate any advice on what to do. Dont laugh cuz it’s really 😔. Thanks
@MamaLinne Thank you I’m so glad I don’t have to start over with the corm . Got my first two that didn’t mush in perlite. Do you have any idea how long it will take ? Should I peal that gunk off ? I don’t see it happening but will trust you.
@ILoveMyPlants gosh I guess it depends on the environment- a month or so maybe? Not sure. Just keep an eye on it that it’s not rotting. It won’t needs as much water either. No, I wouldn’t peel it- you could tear part of it which would allow pathogens to be introduced. Good luck! There aren’t any guarantees with plants (specially Alocasia I find!), but my favorite saying is “where there’s green, there’s hope!”
