Did I do it right?

I bought a crawler pot for my Gloriousum, but I'm not πŸ’― sure that I planted it so it grows correctly. Please tell me she'll be growing to the right? πŸ™

Also, her first leaf under my care has unfurled, and she decided to keep doing the sport variegation! It's not huge, but she's young. πŸ˜‚

She will trail across if you allow her to. If she falls over, let her be. She’s doing what she’s supposed to do. One of my vines leaned over from height and is now crawling across my acrylic shelving. My largest glorio is trailing downwards and backwards. It’s in a glass 5 inch square vase in stratum and is unfurling two new leaves. Meanwhile, the others are reaching to start a colony.

Be patient and don’t flip. Even my Thai constellations have fallen over and are sending out new roots in the humid plant room.
@AnthuriumQueen That'll be an exercise for me (to not flip). I'm somewhat of a nit picker, so if she falls over, I'll totally want to set her up and rig something to keep her upright. πŸ˜‚. The one new leaf IS growing completely backwards in relation to the rest, and I'm already like πŸ€”
@UltraKoreanfir They create colonies in any direction. This is what they are meant to do. My husband asked why the Thais are falling over. Height and weight. He wants them to stay upright. I told him they can until it’s just not possible unless I use a 2x4 at some point. I’m ok with them crawling. They’ll send stabilizing roots to the soil and grow faster. It works for me.
@UltraKoreanfir The variegation on that is amazing! Maybe it’ll stick?! But yes, you definitely did that right! Here’s mine for reference, I repotted this back in November and she’s thriving now! After the repot, she lost about 3 leaves and I was a little worried I messed it up, but she perked right back up and is doing great!
@Bplants Yours looks fantastic! πŸ‘ 😍. Do you top or bottom water?
Thanks for the heads up on the report Aftershock. I'll try not to freak if I lose a couple leaves.
@UltraKoreanfir Thank you, it was a struggle at first! I planted it in a round pot the day I got it. Later that night I read about the plant and that it was a crawler and I was like shoot, I potted that way wrong πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ so the next day I went out and got a rectangular pot and did another repot. So yours might not lose as many leaves as mine, I shocked the ever loving life out of mine πŸ˜‚ I didn’t expect it to recover like it did, it was so droopy, dropping leaves and sad and I thought for sure I killed it. But after maybe a month of being droopy, it started to perk right back up and I think she’s about to sprout a new leaf! So I learned the hard way about these beauties πŸ˜‚ I did use a long wooden chopstick for support to secure the longest stems so the plant didn’t fall over since it hadn’t rooted on the end nodes yet. I top water all of my plants except my SOP. Bottom watering makes me nervous, I always feel like they don’t get as much water as they need even though I’m sure they’re fine πŸ˜‚
Hey! I want to use a crawler pot for one of my plants but I'm so afraid of over watering because it's soo much more soil than I would normally use for a plant of its size. Do you think that's a legit concern or am I being over anxious?
@retrofractus Totally legit concern. I'm a bit anxious about that myself. I thought about buying another and putting it at the opposite end of the pot, but I think I'm going to see how this works as-is.
