Hi, I agree with @PonytailMom, and Iβve done this successfully with mine for years. What I would do is pick a stem and cut it pretty far down 6-12 inches from soil). You have multiple stems with leaves that can still photosynthesize. In my experience, the βstumpβ will not only grow with leaves, but you will probably get one or two branches! Prop the cutting in water, on average I get 1β roots in 4-6 weeks. And, also agreeing with @ZestyWhiteghost, pot that into your pot (if existing roots allow) or create a new baby. Good luck π
@user5877e84a I just read something about this! I have baby bonsai trees and I was wondering the same thing! How to I get them to grow bushier and not taller! It said, βTrim off long shoots to encourage a fuller middle closer to the trunk, Remove dead or damaged branches or limbs regularly.β I donβt see any reason why that wouldnβt work for you, since you want the same outcome that I do!πͺ΄π
Hello! Welcome to the #GregGang... Do what I do... I cheat... I buy another plant and then plant them together... But if the plant is too "leggy" you can trim that part off and propagate it then when the roots are big enough plant it back with the original plant. There are many ways to do it... π¦ππΈπͺ΄π»ππ
