Is Sansan healthy?

I got Sansan 2 months ago. There used to be three groups here, one group expired probably of over watering since the tips turned brown and mushy, the other group turned brown black and crisp. Now, there's only one left, with a baby. I'm worried if I should just transfer the whole thing in water or keep it as is. Currently, I have no access to fertile soil. #Dracaena
Sansan looks good right now; leave it in the current pot. Make sure it dries out completely between watering; they die quickly with overwatering and will not tolerate being put into water. Continue to provide good bright indirect light and leave it alone. It should grow well the more you benignly ignore it.
I almost put her in water today because I suspected the soil. I'll just keep her here and I'll be mindful of the lighting too. Thank you so much!!!
@CottonCandy You are welcome! When you do get soil for Sansan, make sure it is well draining. Mine do well in a commercial succulent/cactus mix.
Good Evening, @ClassicLavender and @CottonCandy. I’m enjoying your conversation, and have a question for @ClassicLavender. I recently purchased a #Dracaena and would like more information on your use of commercial succulent/cactus mix. Is this in addition to soil or in place of soil?
I'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks a bunch @ClassicLavender !!!
@ValleyOfErlease For the Dracenas commonly known as Snake Plants , I just use a good succulent/cactus mix. I live in Tucson AZ where it is easy to purchase locally.
I have purchased a succulent cactus mix, but only use it for my succulents and cacti. I’m in the northeast (Pennsylvania/Delaware) so not as dry or humid as where you are. I’m open to trying it, though; being a #NewPlantMom I’ll take all the tips I can get. I understand snake plants are very easy, so I’ll see what happens. Thank you so much @ClassicLavender #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
@ValleyOfErlease if anything, they will be even more happy in a fast draining mix soil in your environment. Since you have lower temps and higher humidity than I do, your snake plants should be happy campers!
