Is the way my saguaro growing normal/healthy?

My saguaro is growing in the shape of a lightbulb and I am curious if this is a normal/healthy saguaro. If not, how do I fix it? My other two are not growing like this. Living in Colorado for the time being so they spent all winter right next to a window and are just now getting to be outside 24/7. I water them roughly every four weeks. #saguaro #Cactus

Hello! Welcome to the #GregGang with mine I check the soil. If it's almost dried out I water it. Do not allow the soil to dry out all the way, the dry soil will choke out the roots which are very shallow! As a houseplant use the "Soak and Dry Method" soak the soil after it has dried out. Let the water go all the way through the pot, let it all drain out then put it back in it's spot... Hope this helps!! ๐Ÿชด๐ŸŒต๐Ÿœ๐Ÿž Here is a picture of mine on the windowsill..
As another thought. I went on one of the Arizona state sites... They had a measurement chart for how old a #Saguaro cactus is. Mine is about 35-40 years old.. Crazy huh!! They do not get arms until they reach 75 years... My grandchildren will enjoy them!! They will live to be over 200 years.... Crazy beans!! Yours is just a baby!!
@ZestyWhiteghost thank you for the advice!
@ZestyWhiteghost Beautiful! I love cactusโ€™s as I was born in Texas! Iโ€™m growing a Saguaro from seed right now! Can not wait to see the outcome of it? Never planted one from seed before.
@SpeedyCorrea wow! From seed! Please keep us all updated! I lived in Texas for 20 years. We lived in Tomball Texas, Just north of Houston... ๐ŸŒต๐Ÿœ๐Ÿชด
