Easter lilies will die back for the winter ❄️. Here’s some info. πŸ‘ πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘. Remove the flowers as they wither, leaving the green stems and foliage intact. Doing this diverts energy from seed production into refueling the bulbs. By early to mid-summer, your potted Easter lily will begin to die back. At this point, you can cut the stems down to about an inch above the soil.Mar 18, 2024

How to Care for Easter Lilies to Enjoy Their Big, Fragrant Flowers
It is no longer Easter. (: I have lilies in my yard and every winter they die back and every spring they pop back up!

Since you are in Canada, you can just overwinter your potted lily and with proper care, it'll grow again in the spring. (:
@sarah10orio that’s good to know. πŸ‘πŸΌ
@MariansOasis thanks
Quick question, before bring your plant did you acclimate it? A lot of times plants have a hard β€œtransition” from different situations.. (inside to outside). I generally move my plants out of full sun, to partial shade, to inside (from what I’ve learned) moving them when temperatures are about the same inside n out is the best time. Hope this helps
