tips are welcome!!
hey everyone! i propagated my jade pothos because she was bald headed af. attached photos are her now, and the 3 propagation methods i am trying.
first one is nodes without any leaves, growing in a container with a well draining mix with the nodes facing into the soil.
second one is cuttings planted into small pots and i tried to make a greenhouse effect with the plastic bag over the container similar to a humidity dome.
and third, is a classic, water propagation.

@MamaLinne haha yeah they are so delightfully easy to propagate!
@newplantgirlies hi there besides the reg. water propagation I use this method for many types of plants including string plants and succulents. I actually just put some Jade pieces in here about 10 days to go and they're ready to go into a pot. Yay I'm so excited, besides that I got a bonus fern plant in there
@LucrativeHedera interesting! thank you!
You can also use a blend of perlite, volcanic substrate with some Australian fern in there in self-watering cups with just thicker strings that run through the bottom of the soil. You can also put them in that mix and simply a plastic Ziploc that is cracked for a little air flow. Always a good method too. π I use a mix of Harvest Hero perlite (which has a little silica in it) personal choice on the silica itβs not for everyone. But just some options. π
