Fam, can I get an ID check on this?
Greg has IDd it, but I'm not sure if it's accurate because of the colour difference. I know nothing about cacti, so any help is appreciated!

My BEST advice for you is to put your moon cactus outside in FULL SUN 🌞
Your chance of getting flowers will be more likely because they LOVE it!
I’ve had mine for 2 years now and I’ve gotten flowers both summers! As soon as the last frost passes, mine goes out!
When I first got it, it was solid green. Now it’s purple from the sun stress 💜 It’s sooo pretty 🤩
And only water it about every 2 weeks. The less water, the more they thrive!
First pic was yesterday, last pic was when I first got it, and the pics in between are all of the PRETTY flowers!

@JenniferNoel Question! It does appear to be entirely dry. I checked the bottom, too. Would this need to be bottom watered, or from the top?

Top watering is good because it flushes the soil, but you can run the risk of overwatering. Bottom watering lets the plant absorb what it needs instead of you forcing it upon the plant when top watering.
So I switch back n forth! Since it only needs to be watered about twice a month, I will water mine from the top and then next time I will water from the bottom. Then just keep rotating. If you know what I mean?!
And I give mine a good soak from the bottom about once every other month!
I just put it in a bowl and then fill the bowl up until it’s about a quarter of the way up the pot!
Mine is also in a terracotta pot and a chunky, succulent mix which helps it dry out a lot quicker! So I find myself watering more often in the summer time, but it’s seems to be happy 😍
