@robbi_rose Sansevierias are very drought tolerant plants they like infrequent watering, Mold on the soil is a clear indication that your plant needs less frequent watering and is likely dormant (if it is the appropriate season). After removing the mold using one of the above methods, allow your plant to dry out more between watering. Simply wipe off the mold and sprinkle the spot with some cinnamon from your spice drawer. If cinnamon doesn't work, Gaumond says to try a houseplant fungicide spray or a homemade baking soda and water mixture. Test any solution on a small part of your plant to be sure it isn't too strong. Happy Growing
Some of my plantsβ soil had kept getting moldy and I found it was because the soil was getting too much water with nothing to soak it up. (No sun was hitting the soil and at first I thought a grow light would fix this issue but it didnβt) This also happened to one of my snake plants because the water was sitting on top of my soil and the roots were not getting anything to drink. It made my roots of one of my plants moldy so I think it could possibly hurt the plant? Iβm not entirely sure. I would repot it and give the roots a good rinse. Iβd also give it a bit less water and try misting as well as moving its spot :)
I agree with @Monsteralover26
Cinnamon is the most underrated solution for most plant problems. Works great on mould too.

@robbi_rose Thank you, you made my day for marking my answer the best ππ₯°π
@Ms.Persnickety of course!! Everyone was super helpful but I will be doing what you suggested in the morning!! I canβt wait! β€οΈ
You wonβt even need cinnamon or fungicide because the fan will dry the soil fast enough if you find the right setting to put it on
