Whatโ€™s happening to my alocasia?

Please help!! My Alocasia was a little off when I bought her but sheโ€™s been doing well for a few months. All of the sudden, over the past week or two, her leaves have been dying!! She just looks really sad and some of her leaves look ok but the others are dropping fast :(
I was worried I was maybe overwatering so Iโ€™ve been delaying her next watering but Iโ€™m not sure how to get her better ๐Ÿ˜ญ #Alocasia #help #yellowingleaves

@highperion yeah, I second what you have deduced. 3 weeks is a long time to go on a tropical plant and if it is staying wet like that I would be almost positive thereโ€™s a fungal issue.

If it were me, I would downsize the pot (Iโ€™m guessing some of the roots have gone their way because of moisture). When repotting I would soak the roots in a hydrogen peroxide/water mixture to kill the germies. Repot in a pot just 1-2โ€ bigger than the root ball. I donโ€™t use commercial potting mixes so I donโ€™t know what to tell you to put it in. I use 5 parts coco chips, 5 parts chunky perlite, 1 part coco coir and 1 part charcoal for everything but begonias and succulents. You can add powdered cinnamon to help with fungus. Wait 24 hours after treating for fungus before clipping the leaves off.

I attached an at home spray I use all the time to keep pests and other things away. The cinnamon also helps with fungus. You can add tea tree oil to it as well.
@highperion Is your plant card correct that it was watered 20 days ago? And what type of substrate is she in? Alocasia are prone to fungus so one of the first things I would do is treat her for thatโ€ฆ but if you can answer the other questions it will help us give you a detailed response.
@TheOddAsity thatโ€™s correct, I havenโ€™t watered her in a while because her soil has remained pretty moist. Her soil is an indoor potting mix that should drain well but Iโ€™m starting to think sheโ€™s holding onto too much moisture :(
@TheOddAsity thank you so much!!!
@highperion my pleasure! I hope things go well!!
