Alocasia (and I guess general) question: does rotating yo...

This is my #Alocasia cuprea. It bothered my because the leaves it managed to keep only appeared in one side of the pot. I then rotated it when I saw another one sprouting and this new (beautiful) one appeared on the other side!

The question is, was it luck, or is there a correlation? I was worried that, by taking the leaves out of the light it would affect chlorophyll production.

Yes! From what I know it is beneficial to rotate your alocasia either every time your water it, OR atleast once a month. It will help the leaves grow all the way around the plant and prevent the plant from getting too heavy on just one side and falling over. Rotate your pot either 90 degrees or 180 degrees (whichever is more convenient for your space or which you prefer.) you can also put a small clip/mark on your plant pot so you have reference to see which direction your pot is turned to. Good luck with your plant! :)
@Uzi thank you so much! Guess I accidentally got it right haha
Plants like to grow towards their light sources, so yeah they will grow towards the window ^^ this goes for all plants too
