@TyHaxton GM Tyrell congratulations 🎊 it’s beautiful 🀩 and very unique. You’ve got yourself a winner. πŸ₯‡ I love it. 😻
my Monstera is over 2yrs old plenty of leaves have removed many, leaves not splitting , and the color isnt as dark green as they should be, what fertilizer do most use and how often i just split her up into 2 plants somewhat leggy
Hey Deborah, you should probably post a question directly to the board rather than within another's post just because I would want you to get more visibility and advice from the wealth of knowledgeable users here. That being said, three characteristics that you mentioned indicate that your plant is not getting enough light. Leggy growth (etiolation) means that it is searching for better light. The pale leaves can be an indication of insufficient light as chlorophyll production slows. Lack of splitting, fenestrations are prominent in more mature plants. However, if your monstera is not receiving enough energy, then it will not reach that level of maturity easily.
You mentioned that "plenty of leaves have removed many." I am not sure if you meant that you removed the leaves or if the leaves dropped themselves. Without adequate light, the plant will triage for new leaves, hoping to reach more light and shed under productive leaves.

Concerning fertilizer, I think that folks' preferences vary widely. I prefer organics like fish emulsion and seaweed extract for everything except hydroponic and semi hydroponic. Regardless, you should only apply fertilizers during active growth. As we enter the colder months, your plant's growth will likely stagnate, so perhaps not a good time to fertilize.

Anyway, Tyrell, your monstera is gorgeous. The Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabiΒ comes to mind; valuing imperfections, finding beauty in the imperfect and incomplete.
