If you have any other mj plant around cull that male. It will pollinate all other females. I would call it a loss unless you are doing any breeding. You can buy feminized photoperiod seeds which will reduce chances of having a male, although it is still possible for plant to turn hermaphrodite during flower if it is stressed in any way. If it your first time into growing mj and don’t have dedicated space for it where there are no light leaks during dark period go with autoflower genetics. They are not stimulated to flower by switching to 12/12, they do so naturally around 3rd or 4th week of growth. Also, grow cycle is much shorter, 0-8 weeks from seed to harvest on average as opposed to photoperiod mj which can veg for 4-8 weeks then another 7-9 week average flower time.
The seeds definitely means it’s a male and It is not a female. If you have actual buds on the plant and you find seeds within the calyxes then it is a hermaphrodite. Your plant looks like a complete male. If you have any other female plants(sinsemilla) this plant will pollinate them and ruin your crop and you will no longer have sinsemilla( which translates to no seeds) but buds riddled with seeds. Most cannabis grown at home for personal use is female unless you are doing any breeding projects, then you would still definitely need to separate and quarantine the male so it does not pollinate your whole crop. One male plant can pollinate many female plants far away. So if your neighbor has female plants and you let your male bust out pollen it could very well pollinate their plants just by the wind carrying the pollen.
@Michelle5986 if that is the case it is herming, but in the pictures you posted I see mostly seeds and no buds.
If you only have the one girl, which sounds like she's herming, you can try to let her finish. What will happen is your bud will not be as potent and have seeds due to self pollinating.

@DrGreenishThumb no she was not a clone but I did buy a new light half way thru and must have stressed her out 😭
@Michelle5986 that's ok! Try again with another seed if you've got one! I just got some from North Atlantic seeds, and they even have a $2 and $5 seed bin. I grabbed a single $5 blue dream fem photo 😂! I need something with quick return though so I picked up some gorilla glue autos I'm going to try first!

@Addicted2plants I think that’s what happened with the parent plant of the 3 I’m growing: my friend gave me some “boring bud” that wasn’t doing anything for him. I found 2 seeds, then another and got them to grow. I figured if it’s crap weed i at least get some growing practice in. But are MaryJane, Marley and Snoop doomed to be like their mom and be boring bud??
@DarkStar not necessarily. Big part of the potency depends on genetics but you can still get some fire bud by giving tlc and drying and curing correctly.
